Awareness Month Public Service Announcements
- They are friends, neighbors,
co-workers, classmates, volunteers, and teammates. They are
people with developmental disabilities and they are just
like you. During March, (insert your agency name)
encourage everyone to get to know someone with a
developmental disability and you’ll find out he or she has a
lot to offer to our community.
- People with developmental
disabilities can be a friend, a neighbor, a co-worker, a
volunteer, a teammate, or a classmate. In other words –
they are just like you. During Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month, get to know
someone with a disability. You’ll see that everyone has
something to offer. This message is brought to you by
